Temperament
Bred as a companion and servant, the Bearded Collie is a devoted family member and has an unspoiled temperament. Beardies are lively and cheerful, and they retain the basic instincts of a worker.
Appearance
This is a medium-sized dog with a long, flowing coat that follows the shape of the body and hides a lean and athletic physique. The undercoat is soft, furry, and close, while the outer coat is strong and flat, with no tendency to curl, and parts naturally down the spine.
