Australian Cattle Dog

Also known as the Queensland Blue Heeler, this dog is a relatively recent import to Europe and North America.  True working dogs, with stamina and agility to match, they persuade cattle to move by nipping at their heels.

Herding Dog

Temperament

Alert and trustworthy, Australian Cattle Dogs enjoy a large amount of exercise, but are also obedient.  Naturally wary of strangers and dominant, these dogs require early socialization.
